Old Doha Port Signs Deals with UAE and Türkiye to Boost Luxury Yachting

Old Doha Port has signed new deals with five marinas in Qatar, the UAE, and Türkiye to improve luxury yachting and support marine tourism, according to the Qatar News Agency.

Yachting Partnerships

The agreements are with Ronautica Middle East, Corinthia Yacht Club, Mourjan Marinas, Emirates Palace Marina in Abu Dhabi, and Kiyi Istanbul Marina. These partnerships will give yacht owners better services such as free docking, special rates, and VIP hospitality through membership benefits.

The goal is to support Qatar’s plans to grow its economy, promote culture, and encourage sustainable tourism. These deals also help build strong ties between yachting communities in different countries and improve the experience for visitors.

What the CEO Said

“By working with top marinas and international destinations, we are creating new ways for yacht owners and visitors to enjoy smooth, high-quality experiences across borders,” said Mohammed Abdulla al Mulla, CEO of Old Doha Port.

New Brand and Mission

In February last year, Old Doha Port launched a new brand and updated its mission to become Qatar’s top destination for tourism and marine activities. Its mission is to be “a harbor reimagined,” linking Qatar’s history with its future. The port’s vision is to become the Middle East’s top hub for tourism and marine travel.

With over 450 berths and popular attractions like Mina District and The Terminal, the port has grown quickly since the 2022 World Cup.

To attract high-end visitors, the port hosted the Qatar Boat Show 2024 in November. During the event, important deals were signed with Qatar Free Zones Authority, QTerminals, and Milaha. The show featured over 450 global brands, including Gulf Craft, Sunseeker, Princess Yachts, and Benetti.
