UAE Starts ‘Summer Hospitality Camp 2025’ to Train Future Tourism Workers

The UAE Ministry of Economy has started the Summer Hospitality Camp 2025. This program gives students practical training by placing them in real hotels and tourist spots. It aims to help develop local talent in the hospitality industry.

Hospitality Camp for Students in the UAE

The Ministry of Economy has announced a new Hospitality Camp for Emirati and resident students aged 15 to 22. The camp includes five areas of training: hotels, cooking, hospitality services, food services, and event planning. It is organized with help from 35 top companies in the industry.

The camp will last between two to four weeks. During this time, students will work in real hotels and tourist spots, attend workshops with mentors, and receive certificates that are officially recognized.

Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri and Shaikha Nasser Al Nowais, the future secretary-general of the UN World Tourism Organization, introduced the program. They said the camp helps connect what students learn in school with real jobs, while also building leadership and teamwork skills.

Al Marri said tourism is very important for the UAE’s economy and growth. He added that it’s necessary to train local talent to keep the industry growing and strong.

Al Nowais said the camp is an important step to develop national experts in tourism.
