The Ministry reports providing nearly 1.5 million religious services to pilgrims during Hajj.

RIYADH: The Saudi Press Agency reported that nearly 1.5 million religious services were provided to pilgrims during this year’s Hajj season. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance noted that approximately 1,485,000 services were offered from the day before Arafat, which was on June 15, until the end of Hajj.

Saudi authorities announced that 1.8 million pilgrims participated in this year’s Hajj. Six hundred Islamic teachers and translators were available to provide information about the duties of the annual religious event. These teachers supported pilgrims in Makkah, Madinah, and at the Hajj sites of Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat. They also responded to inquiries through a toll-free number.

The minister, Abdullatif bin Abdul-Aziz Al AL sheikh, expressed his gratitude and praised their efforts in aiding the pilgrims.
